Please note that this is a fictitious brand for the purpose of demonstrating my design style and reasoning. Some copy has been added to give a true feel for the website, however most is placeholder as I do not provide copywriting services.
The Brief
The fictitious business for this example website is a wedding planning boutique consisting of three team members and specialising in timeless, elegant weddings. The aim of the new website is to evoke a luxurious yet relaxed feeling as potential clients browse.
Target Audience
- Engaged couples aged 25–40
- Busy professionals
- Couples planning stylish but relaxed weddings
- Budget range: £20,000–£80,000 weddings

The Design

Sage and champagne colour scheme for a timeless, luxury feel
Combination of IMB Plex serif and sans-serif fonts to compliment each other. The serif font is readable yet elegant
Service cards with a growing border hover effect. Image led for engagement.
Testimonials are a key marker of trust and so have been featured prominently. As the users scrolls, the testimonials will fade in in a waterfall effect
These sections are previews of other landing pages, they present some key information that the user can explore further if they wish. The differing background acts as a divider and adds some visual depth.
With social media being such an essential tool for businesses in the wedding industry, an Instagram feed has been incorporated into the site. This encourages users who may wish to return in the future the chance to follow the businesses profile
A very simple contact form has been implemented. This can be expanded upon based on the specific requirements of the business. For example, ceremony date, service interested in.
